Mishpacha Project

Hello everyone! I know it’ been a while, but I have this thing called “School”. Anyway, I had a project where I had to research my family history. Anyway, I learned a few cool things along the way. I interviewed my mother and father. My family history is extremely interesting and I got to reflect this in the project. Turns out the only reason my mom’s side didn’t die in Hungary is because of political hats! I also learned how to make a 200+ year old chicken soup recipe with my grandmother while learning about my namesake, Edna Goldfarb, a philanthropist and overall super cool woman. It’s delicious! I also taught myself how to properly greet others in 8 languages including Slovak. If I did this again, I would try to find my family’s official documents and share Edna’s soup with everyone, unless I get my hands on my grandmother’s dairy free pumpkin chiffon.

This is the project. It’s truly quite interesting! I would recommend looking at it!
